Madrid, 30 ene (.).- El Banco Santander (MC:) ha lanzado este jueves una emisión de deuda sénior no preferente, o «sénior non-preferred», a siete años, que cuenta con un precio de referencia de 95 puntos básicos sobre el «midswap», según fuentes de mercado.

La deuda sénior «non-preferred» es una nueva categoría de instrumentos financieros que fue aprobada por el Gobierno en 2017, con el objetivo de facilitar a las entidades el cumplimiento mínimo de fondos propios que deben tener.

Goldman Sachs (NYSE:), Natixis (PA:), Natwest Markets, Nomura, Société Générale (PA:), y el propio Santander son los colocadores de esta emisión.
