Buenos Aires, 31 ago (.).- El peso argentino se apreció un 2,09 % frente al dólar estadounidense al cierre del mercado cambiario de Buenos Aires.

Tras la fuerte depreciación que la moneda argentina sufrió este miércoles y el jueves, la divisa local recuperó hoy algo de terreno gracias a la intervención del Banco Central en la plaza cambiaria.

La autoridad monetaria realizó hoy tres operaciones de licitación de venta de moneda extranjera, en las que vendió un total de 260 millones de dólares.

El precio promedio del dólar quedó establecido en:

Compra: 36,20 pesos

Venta: 37,40 pesos
